Possible suspect in 3200 Military burglary

A male black was seen acting suspiciously in his parked vehicle a block from the 3200 Military home burglary on Tuesday.
The vehicle is described as a Jeep possible Cherokee, shiny red, license plate # 4NVZ279.

Please keep an eye out on your blocks.  If you spot this vehicle call 1877-ASK LAPD  1877- 275-5273 and report as a suspicious vehicle that has been seen in the area where burglaries have occurred.

Attempted Auto Burglary

TYPE: Attempted Auto Burglary
WHERE: Malcolm at Queensland
WHEN: 2:00 am Monday Morning
SUSPECTS: Black male wearing shorts
CHARACTERISTICS: A resident reported hearing a loud noise outside their home on Malcolm about 2:00 am. They went to the window to see a black male wearing shorts holding what appeared to be a flashlight standing in the street next to a car parked on the street. The suspect ran toward National when he saw the resident looking out the window. Police were dispatched, but it is unknown if the suspect was found.

Please do not leave any items in your car overnight and be sure your car doors are locked.
