TYPE: Home Burglary
WHERE: 3500 Block of Tilden
WHEN: Friday, July 3, 2009, between 4:10 - 4:50 PM
SUSPECTS: -
CHARACTERISTICS: The burglars were probably watching the house as they only had a 40-minute window of time while the owners were out grocery shopping in order to get in and out quickly. The burglars gathered some wood left by the side of the driveway, propped it up against the gate leading to the back yard, hopped over the locked gate, then entered through an open window in the rear of the house. They took iPods, a camera, a lap top computer, cash, and jewelry. The owners have two large dogs, but that did not deter the burglars.

Please take notice of unfamiliar individuals parked in their car on your block. Do not engage them but try to safely jot down any information you notice such as license number, color and type of car and personal characteristics. If another burglary occurs, your information may be useful and could be shared with police to help their investigation.
