Home Burglary
TYPE: Home Burglary
WHERE: 3400 Greenfield
WHEN: Friday Afternoon, August 14th, 2009
SUSPECTS: -
CHARACTERISTICS: We do not currently have a lot of details, however a home on 3400 Greenfield was burglarized and they appeared to have left through a rear gate to the alley.
Between 3 and 4 PM a Woman was seen knocking on the door of the victims house.
Possibly Hispanic - 35 to 45 years of age ( stocky build) . Approximate 5' 6" tall black hair.
She was wearing a white top and tan jeans. After she knocked on the door she headed north
on Greenfield Ave.

Home Burglary
TYPE: Home Burglary
WHERE: 3300 block of Greenfield
WHEN: Friday, June 5th between 10 am and 2 pm.
SUSPECTS: -
CHARACTERISTICS: The burglars broke in through the back yard and back door. Some jewelry items were taken, some valuables were left in the living room. A police report has been filed. Please be extra careful to secure the back doors/gates to your homes.

Home Burglary Monday on Greenfield
TYPE: Home Burglary
WHERE: 3300 Greenfield
WHEN: betwwen 3:00-4:00 pm Monday, March 16th
SUSPECTS: -
CHARACTERISTICS: broke the back door glass, unlocked the door, ransacked the house and took jewelry
It was reported that solicitors were in the area around that time. SLO Ceja said to watch for solicitors selling magazine and call the non emergency LAPD and tell them we had rash of burglaries in the area and ask them to send a car and if they can take a picture without being in danger of any sort
He said he will be in plain car tomorrow Wed. 3/18 from 5:00 am to around 4:00 and if anyone sees the magazine subscription sellers call his cell phone (310-622-3975).

Follow-Up to Arson Incident
At 4:00 AM on Thursday, 11/20/2008 a resident's car was lit on fire by an arsonist on the 3400 Block of Greenfield Ave. Just before this happened a vehicle with a loud-sounding exhaust (it sounded like a truck) left the scene.
On Wednesday 11/26/2008 the "Animal Liberation Press Office" announced in their "press release" that the terrorist car-bombing was an act accomplished by an anonymous "animal liberation" group that calls itself "Students and Workers for the Liberation of UCLA Primates": http://www.animalliberationpressoffice.org/press_releases/pr_08_11_27_ucla.htm .
According to this announcement, the "target" was in fact a different neighbor on the 3400 block of Greenfield Avenue who works as a researcher at UCLA. However, the "animal activists" attacked a completely unrelated and innocent person. This car bombing is now being treated as an act of "domestic terrorism" and involves LAPD, LAFD, UCLA PD and FBI investigators. The goal of "animal liberators" is to intimidate, scare and harm anyone whom they determine to be the "target" using "legal and illegal means" which are typical tactics of terrorists worldwide . SUSPECTS: -
CHARACTERISTICS: Police activity and air support Tuesday afternoon between 2:30-3:00 PM on 3200 Greenfield... Suspect forced entry thru front door, attempt to take plasma TV but failed and damaged it in the process, either it fell when he tried to unhook it or he dropped it...He may have been interupted and fled as the resident came home..No suspect was seen
